My latest labor of love for my little brother is a polar fleece pillow. Mine is the larger image on the left and I used the reference image on the right as inspiration.
I measured out the fleece pieces with paper templates and used a vanishing fabric pen to transfer the design to the fabric and then cut out all of of the pieces. After pinning the pieces in places I began the "applique" process by machine sewing the pieces to the yellow fabric. I then matched the outside faces and stitched it closed with a 3" opening left to turn it right side in and stuff it. Using a ladder stitch I closed the seam and ta da! Pillow!
